10:15 pm - This is a shocker!! I love 90210 but not sure how I feel about this...
"90210" spinoff on fast track
By Nellie Andreeva
Wed Mar 12, 11:55 PM PDT

The most popular zip code on television is back.

The CW network is developing a contemporary spinoff of Aaron Spelling's seminal 1990s teen soap "Beverly Hills, 90210," sources said.

Details on the project -- including which if any of the characters on the original series will make the transition to the spinoff -- remain sketchy.

The spinoff, which is close to getting a writer, has been put on the fast track by the network. It is expected to decide whether to order a pilot by the end of the month.

According to sources, "Beverly Hills, 90210" creator Darren Star is not involved.

This would be the second spinoff from the series about privileged teens living in Beverly Hills, which aired on Fox from 1990-2000. The first one, the Star-created "Melrose Place," had a successful seven-year run on Fox. It didn't feature any major characters from "Beverly Hills."

A teen soap set in posh Beverly Hills would be a perfect companion to the CW's buzzworthy freshman drama "Gossip Girl," which revolves around rich teens living in Manhattan.

Spinoffs are hot this development season. Fox is developing two: "Cleveland," centered on the henpecked character from the hit animated comedy "Family Guy," and a "Prison Break" offshoot set at a female prison.

Last year, ABC spun off its medical juggernaut "Grey's Anatomy" into "Private Practice."

The CW also has a spinoff on its schedule, the "Girlfriends" offshoot "The Game."

9:33 pm - Boy Band Randomness
So a few weeks ago bek and I met Brian from BSB at a concert in waukesha and then last night we had another random boy band experience. We attended a Joey McIntyre concert in Madison and it was interesting I must say. I was expected him to be doing more Pop songs but apparently his new cd is all about the "crooner" type of music so that was what the majority of the show was. It was like watching a Lounge act. He was however somewhat amusing and joked around somewhat with the crowd and took a few requests and also broke into "Please don't Go Girl" which was a highlight. Luckily Bek was able to get a few seconds of video on it on her phone.

Then afterwards He was in the lobby doing a meet and greet. So we got in a very disorganized line for that and was able to get autographs and a quick pic with him. So about nine years after our first attempt at meeting Joey McIntyre we finally accomplished it!

4:55 pm - Happy St. Patricks Day
So this week/weekend has had a few fun festivities. Wednesday night I went to Katie to her friend Mandy's apartment for American Idol then we went out to Nice Ash afterwards for a drink. On Thursday Jenny and I enjoyed our Grey's night since it hadn't been on for a few weeks and whats up with George and Izzie by the way? Then last night we went out to Silver Creek Brewery in Cedarburg to celebrate Nate's birthday. It was pretty fun. We had some drinks, pizza, cheese (yes, they serve hunks of cheese) and played a few card games. Then today was an early morning and after stopping for breakfast and coffee Jenny, Pete and I headed off to waukesha to meet her parents and pick up Jenny's friend Cole and his friend Justin and then we headed to the parade in Erin. The parade itself was nothing special and it was very cold but it was more about the atmosphere and we had a fun time had some more drinks and food and saw some crazy people. Justin and Cole even jumped on a few of the floats (yes, they were quite drunk). Since I'm not Irish I had never done anything to celebrate St. Patricks day before but with Jenny being Irish I was able to have my first St. Patricks day celebration and I must say it was quite amusing. A few pictures will be posted soon on facebook.

Tonight: 90210 DVD night with Jenny (Turns out Jenny was also obsessed with that show when it was on, haha)and we don't want to brave the bars
Tomorrow: Teach SS, Church
Monday: Going on a Double Date with Scott (Nate's friend) and Bek and Nate
Tuesday: Homework club after work, then I have to make a stop in Greenfield to pick up my Taxes, then dinner with my Parents

9:36 pm - Is it Spring Yet?
No more snow please. I'm ready for Spring. I've done lots of shopping with bek and/or jenny the last couple of weekends and have lots of new stuff that I am just waiting to be able to wear :-)

Hanson is amazing. I've been listening to the new c.d. nonstop. Can't wait for tour to actually start!

Girl Scout Cookies came today. That was exciting. It was very amusing walking out of school with two full boxes of cookies. I had to explain many times that these were going to be divided among four girls :-)

Saw Daddy's Little Girls and Because I Said So this past weekend. Both were very good. Although everyone will admit that my mom is overprotective she's definitley not as bad as Diane Keaton's character and has never tried to set me up (thats bek's job! hehe.)

Conferences are finally over! yay! We had them Thursday night, all day friday and last night and I must admit that starting the work week with a 12 hour day is not a whole lot of fun. However, it is teacher appreciation week which means that every day there is lots, and lots and lots and lots of food in the lounge courtesy of the PTA and I swear everytime I walk in there the amount of food available multiplies. Teachers like to eat.

3:42 pm - Another girls Weekend
Went shopping yesterday with bek and jenny and spents Lots of money!!! eeks! Then came back home to watch some Veronica Mars, Then went out to dinner with bek, jenny, T, lindsey and trevor at Buffalo Wild Wings, then got some cold stone (and discovered that T eats ice cream like a two-year-old! hehe) then came back and hunkered down for the night and watched the final Anne of Green Gables movie with the girls.

Today, Bek, Jenny and I were up bright and early and made a snowoman on our front lawn! She's dressed in a bikini with sunglasses and a visor and is ready for spring break! haha (check our pics on facebook) Then shoveled which was a bitch!!!!!!! because the snow was so wet and heavy luckily for the last stretch of it bek asked our neighbor if we could borrow the snowblower which he said "yes" to so that helped a bit. Jenny and I wanted to go sledding but that didn't happen since Jenny had to work this afternoon. Hopefully we can do that sometime soon :-) The rest of today is going to be spent vegging out!!!!!

2:22 pm - Rockstars
Grey's Anatomy is a crazy, crazy show but it is sooooooooooooooooooo good. Jenny and I were freaking out during last Thursdays episode. Definitely one of the best one so far. And then I had another freakout session later on while texting sara :-). Its sooo cute how much McDreamy loves Meredith and she will NOT die because afterall the show is named after her! and I must agree that Izzy is a rockstar.

Izzy: Did you hear me Christina? I drilled a hole into this guys's skull, several holes actually with a drill I borrowed from a guy named Vince and then patched it with freakin tissue! I brought him back here and now I get to scrub in on his craniotomy...I don't know where Meredith is, I didn't see her at the scene. The scene where I was a rockstar! Did I mention I'm off probation? ROCKSTAR!!!!

Another quote from Izzy.

Izzy: I believe we survive George. And I believe that believing we survive is what makes us survive.

Also a quote from ER that Katie will appreciate, it was during the part of the episode where surgery was about to start on a cheerleader brought in for internal bleeding.

Dr. Dubanko: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.

Ok enough of my tv freakouts. I talked to my principal the other day and let him know that I was interested in the two second grade positions that were going to be opening up in the district due to retirements next year. He said that as soon as the job is posted he'll let me know so I can apply for it and then interiews will happen in April with hopes of having the position filled by mid-May. So I must start updating my resume and such in the near future! One of the jobs is actually at the school I'm working at so I do have an advantage in that everyone there knows who I am so thats good! I just hope I get an actualy teaching job for next year!

Watched more episodes of the "Talking the Walk" podcast last night on my Ipod. Watching those really makes me remember why I love Hanson.

Upcoming Plans:
Today: Dinner and seeing "Bridge to Terabithia" with Bek, Katie and Jenny
Tomorrow: Anne of Green Gables night with Bek and Jenny
Wednesday: Partying it up like rockstars at a beauty and the geek party in Chicago

current mood: cold
